I have known Brook since I taught him in kindergarten and Grade 1 at General Byng School. He is the same positive young man today as he was then. He has the qualities that would make a great school trustee, he is positive, knowledgeable, persistent and has the strong core value of fairness that is needed in our school system. He will fight for your child’s enhanced education and work hard to provide great leadership as a trustee.

I have known Brook for over 30 years and found that he is an energetic and highly motivated individual. He is committed to the community and has volunteered on many projects and initiatives.

As a student athlete, he knew the importance of all school activities and had a real sense of pride in representing his school. I feel he is the kind of person that will work very hard to do what is right for students and the community.

Brook is a doer and is not afraid to take on challenges and will work very hard on behalf of Ward 1 and the entire Division.

With one month to go until byelection day in Pembina Trails School Division, Ward 1, election sings for school trustee candidate Brook Jones have been popping up in Charleswood and Tuxedo.

I am very proud that my dad was a teacher for 37 years and that he gave of his time and energy to students.

School boards are elected bodies responsible for the planning and delivery of educational services within geographical regions know as school divisions. The primary function of a school board is to set policy. I am running for school trustee for Pembina Trails School Division, Ward 1, because I want to do my part to ensure Pembina Trails continues to do all it can to support its students and staff.

Decisions are made a public meetings. I believe it’s important to be accessible, open minded, and to represent the residents that live within a particular school division with enthusiasm, dedication and a desire to listen. It’s all about bringing ideas forward that best support students and teachers.

On Oct. 25, I ask for your support at the ballot box so I can have the privilege and opportunity to give of my time and energy to support the Pembina Trails School Divisions while enriching the lives of its students through enhanced educational policy.
