It’s Official: Nomination Papers Filed for Fort Rouge – East Fort Garry

September 20, 2026 | City Hall

Today marked a major milestone for my election campaign. At City Hall, accompanied by supporters, I officially submitted my nomination paper to the Senior Election Official. With the filing complete, it’s official: my name will be on the ballot for City Councillor in Fort Rouge – East Fort Garry on Wednesday, October 28.

Powered by Our Community

To qualify for the ballot, candidates must collect 25 signatures from residents across the ward. Over the past few weeks, our team has been out at doorsteps, community centres, and local parks doing just that.

Getting on the ballot isn’t just about fulfilling a requirement at City Hall—it’s a direct reflection of the conversations I’ve been having right here in our local neighbourhoods.

Every signature on those papers represents a conversation about the future of Fort Rouge and East Fort Garry:

  • Supporting Parks & Community Centres.
  • Supporting Safer Communities
  • Supporting Affordable Government

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who signed my nomination and opened their door to chat with me.
